PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email.  If you have any questions regarding one of our Mastiffs, please read their bio and if you still have questions- drop us an email at [email protected] .  If you have questions about our adoption procedures, please go to our Pages of Interest on the left hand column under "Adoption Info."  We answer email inquiries almost immediately-usually always within a few hours and phone calls are returned with 24-36 hours.

GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption

application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Jack! Jack was rescued over the summer when he was found laying in a ditch on the side of the road. At 67 pounds he was emaciated and he would not have made it much longer being outside in the summer heat. A local rescued picked up Jack and started him on the road to health before transferring him to GPMR to find him a forever home. The vet estimates Jack between 1.5 and 2 years old.

Jack was diagnosed with Ehrlichia which a disease that is caused by a tick bite. Some dogs have Ehrlichica and never show any signs of it, but poor Jack had several episodes of fevers and joiint pain. Those flare ups were treated and he has been doing great ever since.

We had an approved home waiting for Jack but sadly they had to withdraw their application due to an illness with their other dog. So now we are searching for a forever home for Jack!

Jack has a very loving personality and he does great with other dogs. He's not been around cats since we've had him. Jack would do great in a home with kids over 5 years. We suspect he may be a Mastiff mix due to his smaller stature but he has all the personailty of a Mastiff!

Jack is being fostered in Tulsa, OK.
